Description
To meet the requirements of the Health and Social Care Act (2012) Oxfordshire County Council (the Council) Public Health team currently commissions the following two public health services from up to 65 GP Service Providers in the County:
• NHS Health Checks
• Long Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC's)
The GP Service Providers use specific clinical software (e.g. EMIS or equivalent software) to maintain contemporaneous clinical documentation and an electronic patient record. When undertaken, NHS Health Checks and LARC's are recorded using this clinical software. To complete mandatory data reporting and remuneration, this data needs to be extracted and processed on behalf of the Council.
Since 2013, this data processing has been achieved by the Council tendering for a Data Management Service through a third party. The current contractual arrangement for this service ends on 30th June 2026 and the Council is currently exploring options as to how it can meet this business need from 1st July 2026, within a budget of £55,000 per annum (ex VAT).
Interested parties are invited to respond to a brief survey hosted on the South East Business Portal to help the Council to establish the identify of interested parties and potential suppliers of the services, to inform the authority's requirements and approach to the procurement, and to inform the design of any future procurement. You do not need to answer all the questions to submit this engagement questionnaire. Any information that you can provide is of value to us.
This is not the beginning of a Tender exercise. Your feedback as a provider will not have a bearing on any future Tender submissions you may wish to offer at a later stage. You will not be disadvantaged if you choose not to respond to this engagement questionnaire, however it will be helpful to understand your views early in the design process, so we encourage you to respond as fully as you are able to.
Expressions of interest can be made, and the survey accessed via the South East Business Portal: https://sebp.due-north.com/ and searching for project ID: DN766313.
The closing date for submission of survey responses is 28 March 2025 at 17:00.
