NHS Devon ICB is intending to award a contract to an existing provider following direct award C process for Specialist Children's Community Services including Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Wheelchairs, Augmentative and Alternative Communication Intervention services). The lifetime value of the contract is £6.351m with a contract term of 3 years from 01 April 2024 with the option to extend for up to a further 2 years.

The award decision makers were: NHS Devon ICB PSR Steering Group. There were no declared conflicts in relation to any of the items on the agenda of the Steering Group.
An assessment of the provider was undertaken based on the evidence available from existing and previous contracts held by NHS Devon. Key Criteria for Quality and Innovation, Value, Integration, Collaboration and Service Sustainability and Improving Access, reducing health inequalities and facilitating choice were assessed as pass/fail - with a scoring of 0-5 (with no single score of 0, and no more than 1 criteria with a score of 2 or below). Social Value was assessed with the same scoring but with a weighting of 100%.
A contract will be awarded for a period of 3 years commencing 01 April 2024 with the option to extend for a further period of up to 2 years. The amount payable to the provider under the contract is £6.351m.
