Description
The procurement is for services from the OEM Cattron to provide OEM spare parts for control equipment used on board various Network Rail fleets used for track maintenance and renewal. The scope comprises two main activities 1) Providing OEM approved spare parts for the radio control equipment 2) providing maintenance services according to OEM standards for both the fixed equipment on the rail vehicles and the portable controller handsets and carry cases.

Description of possible extension:
The initial term will be 3 years from the start date (date of signature). There are options for two 1 year extensions. These will be enacted incrementally subject to the remaining life of the assets for which spares and maintenance services are required.

Network Rail requires spare parts from the OEM (Cattron) to guarantee functionality, reliability and to retain OEM warranties on the equipment. For maintenance services of its equipment, the UK branch of the supplier provides these to ensure equipment is maintained to manufacturer/OEM standards.
