The purpose of this tender is to put in place a Framework Agreement for the Supply of Drugs of Abuse Testing Kits which may be used for general testing, specific testing and/or for incidents of drug misuse for our member trusts

This is a two-year contract with the option to extend for a further 2 years at the discretion of the EMPC and provider(s) agreement.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement

The purpose of this tender is to put in place a Framework Agreement for the Supply of Drugs of Abuse Testing Kits which may be used for general testing, specific testing and/or for incidents of drug misuse for our member trusts .

The East Midlands Pharmacy Collaborative (EMPC) hosted by The University Hospitals of Derby & Burton NHS Foundation Trusts has collated the requirements of the following Trusts who may or may not be participating in this offer, subject to the terms of any existing agreements. Hereafter all references to Pharmacy Collaborative will incorporate these Trusts also.

This is a two-year contract with the option to extend for a further 2 years at the discretion of the EMPC and provider(s) agreement.

two.2.14) Additional information

The current annual value of the contract for The East Midlands Pharmacy Collaborative Members (EMPC) is £25,000

We anticipate growth of this Contract with additional Trust take up and increase in patient numbers. The anticipated contract value over a 4 year period is in the region of £200,000; depending on Contract take up by the Trusts listed in 11.2.4.
