The primary scope of this tender is to design, supply, install and commission hardware for a flexible manufacturing system that can act as a physical demonstration learning system for relevant and latest industry 4.0 technologies. The system will need to be sited in the Automation and Robotics Labatory at the UWTSD Campus in Swansea Waterfront Campus IQ Building Island Rd, Swansea SA1 8EW.
The proposed systems need to be able to facilitate digital twin modelling with the current UWTSD Siemens Tecnomatix software and any further requirements for this should be identified.
This tender opportunity should consider an integrated physical hardware system with options such as, but not limited to;
a. Range of manufacturing Process Operations.
b. Assembly Operations (both manual and automated.)
