Scope

Description

To deliver a series of week-long theoretical and practical training sessions, including assessments, to ensure all MMO seagoing staff are fully trained to perform their seagoing role safely and meet safe working standards.

To deliver, when required, biennial two-day refresher courses for MMO seagoing staff, ensuring learners remain competent to maintain continued safe practice and are reassessed against safe working standards.

This project will enable MMO to achieve its strategic objectives by supporting the delivery of an effective offshore enforcement programme and contributing to:

• Delivering sustainable fishing opportunities,

• Protecting marine habitats and species,

• Providing regulatory support and assurance,

• Supporting global marine protection, and

• Support the MMO in setting out how to achieve fisheries management outcomes as defined in the MMO Story and Fisheries Act 2020.

  • £146,000 excluding VAT
  • £175,200 including VAT
