Explanation:

The university brings a number of skills that are directly linked to the work and have work ongoing with schools and the community as part of other research and outreach in the local community.

The University understands the structure and governance of the Alliance and has already commenced dialogue with system partners including education providers and has evidenced that they have the capability and capacity to deliver engagement and supportive schools work to support the timescales required by the programme.

The University of Essex will continue to work with the Authority and as part of the North East Essex Health and Wellbeing Alliance as an anchor organisation within the Essex system to continue to further develop and implement a set of initiatives aimed at increasing community participation in shaping their lived environment, addressing skill gaps in the community, improving employment prospects, and developing high-impact research and knowledge exchange to improve lives.
