The City of Edinburgh Council (the Council) intends to appoint a suitably experienced Contractor to install, commission, maintain, and remove temporary festive lighting infrastructure at various locations throughout the City.
This Contract falls within the scope of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.
The Contractor will work with the Winter Festivals Contractor(s) to ensure festive lighting for the City is managed, installed and derigged in a coordinated way in all communities. This is particularly important in relation to community events “switch-ons” where the Contractor will need to work closely with the Council’s Winter Festivals Contract Manager to ensure these important community events are well managed and delivered to a high standard.
