The Council is working with the LTA (Lawn Tennis Association) to rejuvenate several ‘poor’ and ‘unplayable’ public tennis courts across the district, for the benefit of their local community. Working in partnership with Local Authorities, the LTA’s Parks Investment initiative aims to engage 1m more players in tennis in Britain, supporting health and wellbeing outcomes for local communities such as Bradford. As part of these plans, The Council are looking to appoint a Service Provider, to provide opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to engage and participate in tennis within Bradford’s communities.
