two.1.4) Short description

Buckinghamshire Council is seeking to commission with an experienced and qualified provider for the co-ordination and delivery of a Buckinghamshire Based Housing Support Service for vulnerable single Buckinghamshire residents between the ages of 16 to 55 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Over a time limited period, the aim is to provide a supportive, person centred and empowering service to enable Service Users to gain the skills and support required to live independently, move-on to long-term housing solutions and sustain tenancies. The successful provider(s) will be expected to work in partnership with health and social care services and the voluntary and community sector to promote personal independence, improved health and wellbeing and to prevent homelessness and reduce factors leading to repeated homelessness.

The contract start date is 1 September 2024. The contract term is 3 years with the option to extend for one further year with a total contract value for Lot 1 £1,245,548.29 and Lot 2 £340,932.31.

The services are divided into two areas referred to as Lots. The potential provider(s) can bid for one or both Lots.

Lot 1 - High Wycombe, High Support. The Service will support 60 service users aged 18 – 55 accessing homeless hostel beds and dispersed accommodation from:
