The provision of remote teleradiology services, including out of hours Acute / Emergency cross-sectional reporting, predominantly CT, and a small volume of Acute / Emergency plain film reporting for the Radiology Department at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (servicing the Denmark Hill and Princess Royal University Hospital sites). This service will further include Elective / Subspecialty cross-sectional and plain film reporting. The primary goal is to ensure timely and efficient provision of actionable reports for all cases, meeting the Authority's operational needs. The service will further include the provision and maintenance of supporting ICT services and associated integration requirements.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The standstill period begins on the day after the publication of this notice. Representations by providers must be made to the relevant authority by 9/2/2026.

Representations can only be made by providers party to the framework agreement. This contract has not yet formally been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR.

No actual conflicts of interest were declared, no mitigations were required.

Evaluation criteria used were weighted 70% technical, 20% commercial, and 10% social value. These key criteria were agreed with clinical stakeholders to secure assurance on receiving the highest quality bids while accounting for the need for value for money. The contract award criteria was specified in the procurement documents, specifically the Invitation to Tender, with weighting of individual questions set out further in the Technical Response Document. The successful bidder was selected on the basis of their responses against the key criteria, scoring highest against the technical and social value criteria.

This is a notice of intention to award to Everlight Radiology for the provision of remote teleradiology services including provision of supporting ICT services, based on a framework agreement under the competitive process, for 4 years (including a potential extension of 12 months), at an approximate value of £9,500,000.

This will be a new service provided by a new supplier, with services intended to run from 1/7/2026 to 30/6/2029, with an option to extend to 30/6/2030.
