To create a Dynamic Purchasing System for, The provision of Mobile Preliminary Roads Drug Testing Devices, (MPRDTD) the equipment, consumables, peripherals and services required around technical support, training, calibration, repair and maintenance as maybe required.

The MPRDTD to be designed to detect the presence of a specified drug or drug group in a sample of saliva and to provide an indication of the presence of that target drug: Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (the main active ingredient of cannabis): Cocaine.

The drug test device must be a type approved by the Secretary of State for obtaining an indication a person has one or other or both target drugs in their body offences under Section 5A of the Road Traffic Act 1988

The Procurement will involve establishing a Dynamic purchasing system with supplier(s) who are successful in their SSQ application, signing the DPS MPRDTD Framework Agreement. When Live, Contracting Authorities will be able to Call-Off From the DPS.
