No Conflicts of interest.There is no other in-patient service within footprint. Middlewood will allow patients the chance to be treated and cared for closer to home, which is an aim of the Provider Collaborative. As part of the mobilisation of the service the Provider Collaborative have agreed a block purchase arrangememt of 6 beds until 31 March 2025. From April 2025, all beds will be paid for on a cost per case basis.Elysium Healthcare bring together a unique approach to the delivery of care where the individual is embedded in the heart of all aspects of care. Their aim is to set new standards in the delivery of specialist care through the strategic network of sites which provide a complete pathway of care. The services which Elysium provide are highly specialised and have been uniquely developed with the individual patient in mind. Programmes are evidence based and are supported by careful research, with the aim of ensuring that the patient is a partner in their care with agreed shared aims and objectives that motivate to progress and move forward. Elysium offer care and treatment for people with an eating disorder including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa and atypical eating disorders. Their approach is to restore a healthy body weight and food intake and address psychological problems during treatment. They aim to provide high quality care and treatment which supports individuals to re-establish eating and maintain a healthy weight before a successful and sustainable discharge home. They support and care for people over 18 years of age with a primary diagnosis of an eating disorder with or without an additional diagnosis of mental illness, Personality Disorder (PD), autism, history of substance abuse, trauma, self-harm or other complex needs.
