Description

The City of Doncaster Council (CDC) is holding a Market Engagement Event for providers of Domiciliary Care Services across the City of Doncaster. The aim of the event is to discuss the future procurement of Domiciliary Care in the city of Doncaster, with current arrangements coming to an end on the 31st October 2025. It is anticipated that a formal procurement process will be undertaken to establish a Light Touch Flexible Framework Agreement in line with the new Procurement Act 2023. Procurement of the Framework Agreement is anticipated to begin from April 2025. The Market Engagement Event will offer an opportunity for interested providers to hear about CDC's vision for Domiciliary Care, and also to share details of the process to procure these services. Providers are reminded that they will need to Register their Organisation on the Central Digital Platform in order to bid for services as required by the Procurement Act 2023

Engagement process description

The Market Engagement Event will be held on Monday 17th March 2025 at City of Doncaster Council offices; Civic Office, Waterdale, DN1 3BU. There will be 3 sessions available, details as follows: Session 1 - 10am-11:30am Session 2 - 12:30pm-2:00pm Session 3 - 2:30pm-4pm To book a place on one of the sessions please contact Laura.Tilston-Buzzard via email: Laura.Tilston-Buzzard@doncaster.gov.uk and provide the following information: • Name of delegate and job title of delegate • Organisation details, including address • Delegate email address and contact telephone number • Your preferred session time In order for us to appropriately manage the room capacity and allow as many providers the opportunity to attend the event, there will be a maximum of two places available per organisation. The closing date for registering your interest in attending this event is noon on Monday 10th March 2025. If you are unable to attend any session in person, please contact Laura (on the contact details noted above) and we can look at an alternative method for you to join the meeting. All slides and notes from the meeting will be published on YorTender.
