s part of the Defence People Strategy and People Transformation agenda, the Ministry of Defence (MOD) seeks to improve its connections with society and increase its intellectual diversity through bringing together innovators, academia and the venture community to understand and better solve Defence problems, innovate at speed and rapidly deploy solutions that Defence needs. MOD also seeks the ability to source, translate and vet a number of Defence problems for experimentation in universities with groups of postgraduate students working on its problems over short periods of 10 weeks.
