The Council requires provision of Toxicology Services for the use of HM Senior Coroner (including any Area/Assistant Coroner) hereafter referred to as "Coroner”. The Supplier shall provide a quality Service which seeks value and respects the needs and aims of the Coroner.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement

The Supplier shall be appointed as the sole provider of toxicological analysis via the detection, identification and quantification of toxicologically relevant substances and the interpretation of the results, which is required to assist with determining the cause of death for the Coroner.

The Supplier shall be responsible for providing appropriate laboratory services on behalf of the Coroner and shall be expected to operate to the highest professional standards, maintaining the integrity of test results, reports and comprehensive analysis.
