Provision of pipette tip supply for 6 months
SPT manufacture tips for the mosquito HV and dragonfly discovery liquid handling devices at their UK based office.
As such, and unlike many other liquid handling systems, SPT have so far never experienced any shortages of tip stock or delays on supply of their tips to customers during the COVID-19 pandemic.
And there is strong assurance of Spare manufacturing capacity also available for SPT tips.
Prevention of cross contamination
As cross-contamination protection, the pipetting action, splash guard and single-use disposable positive displacement pipettes ameliorate the possibility as far as is possible and to date nearly 200,000 COVID genomes have been sequenced at the Sanger using the instruments.
Sample handling
High speed sample stamping to/from both 96-well and 384-well plates in under 5 minutes.
