The proposed service will be a therapeutic support service for children / young people in Sheffield aged 3 to 19 who have been harmed by their experience of domestic abuse.

The service will operate within Sheffield’s Children and Families Service model which includes social care, Early Help services and Sheffield’s Strengthening Families Domestic Abuse Team.

The service will be inclusive, non-discriminatory and use a trauma informed approach to support children and young people to improve their wellbeing, confidence and safety and will provide them with an opportunity to share their feelings in a safe environment. Thereby, enabling children and families to recover from their experience and increase their chances of achieving good outcomes.
