The Scottish Ambulance Service (SAS) Advanced Practitioner (AP) training programme requires staff to achieve a Postgraduate Diploma (PG DIp) in Advanced Practice and to complete a SAS-based Competency Framework to achieve final sign off.

We therefore seek to identify advanced practice programmes that are accessible to staff across Scotland and can meet the SAS Advanced Practice programme requirements, to create an ‘approved AP programme provider’ list.
