Nuffield Health will provide urgent routine breast screening by providing mammograms to GHFT patients. This activity forms part of the national breast screening programme.
The indicative contract value for this contract is £27,600
Due to urgent circumstances, this contract was awarded under an urgent award via the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) 2023.
This contract commences on the 19th January 2026 for 14 weeks, ending on 20th April 2026

This contract has been awarded under the urgent circumstances provision of the Provider Selection Regime (PSR). This contract has been awarded under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award.
In not awarding this contract on an urgent basis would have have posed a risk to patient safety, as patients would not of had timely access to breast screening which is there to ensure timely access to breast services should there be a need too.
