North West Leicestershire requires the services of a Portal Official Veterinary Surgeon (OVS) to assess imports of animal origin at East Midlands Airport Border Control Post. This contract will be to undertake veterinary checks on products of animal origin, which may include fishery products on occasions, at a Border Control Post (BCP) to protect animal and public health.

This is an initial 2-year (24-month) contract with the option to extend for a further period of 12 months. The total maximum duration will therefore be 36 months.
