Gateway Housing Association wish to appoint a competent and experienced service provider to undertake tree maintenance and associated works at properties owned and/or managed by Gateway Housing Association.It is intended that the contract established following the procurement will run for an initial term of three years, extendable for a further term of up to two years via annual extensions. The estimated contract value per annum is £45,000 (exc VAT).Gateway Housing Association comply with the requirements of London Living Wage as defined by the Living Wage Foundation and updated annually by the Mayor of London, therefore prices submitted at tender stage and throughout the contract term should be in line with these requirements as a minimum.

Gateway Housing Association will incorporate a standstill period at the point information on the award of the contract is communicated to tenderers. That notification will provide full information on the award decision. The standstill period, which will be for a minimum of 10 calendar days, provides time for unsuccessful tenderers to challenge the award decision before the contract is entered into. The Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (SI 2015 No 102) provide for aggrieved parties who have been harmed or are at risk of harm by a breach of the rules to take action in the High Court (England, Wales, and Northern Ireland).
