The procurement and installation of an advanced communications system across the Smart Sound Plymouth marine testing and proving ground.

Smart Sound Plymouth is Britain’s premier proving area for designing, trailing, and developing cutting edge products and services for the marine sector, and is ideally suited for building and supporting the next generation of advanced marine technologies. The proving area offers a range of marine environmental conditions from comparative shelter to offshore hostile marine environments. To further facilitate the operation of remotely operated and autonomous vessels and enhance the ability to conduct marine research there is a requirement to deliver reliable high-speed communications to a diverse array of assets and platforms using the Smart Sound facility.
