A summary of the expected community benefits has been provided as follows:
Tenderers should provide a Social Value and Community Benefits Plan containing details of Community Benefits which it considers may enhance its Form of Offer to Tender and demonstrate partnership working with the Council in relation to the Contract for Treatment of Residual Municipal Waste, for example, through job creation and/or provision of training and recruitment in the waste management sector and/or waste reduction initiatives within the Council’s area for the Contract Period. The Community Empowerment (Scotland) Act 2015 requires Stirling Community Planning Partnership to identify the areas where people experience significantly poorer outcomes which result from socio-economic disadvantage. We encourage proposals which specifically target and benefit those areas identified with our Locality Action Plans –Bannockburn and Hillpark, Cornton, Cowie, Fallin, Mercat Cross & City Centre, Plean, Raploch and St. Ninians.
