two.1.4) Short description

The service will provide integrated care for both sexual health and contraception as well as HIV specialist nursing, targeted outreach, and a young people’s offer to include the National Chlamydia Screening Programme (NCSP) and specialist pharmacy provision. It will be a key part of the wider sexual health system in Bromley that also includes the provision of sexual health services by primary care, services commissioned by South East London Clinical Commissioning Group and the London online sexual health service (SHL), as well as participation in sub-regional (South East London) and regional (London) sexual health developments.

The Council would like to improve local access, the user experience and make effective use of technology, with a digital offer to facilitate self-care and influence behaviour change. Providers must be innovative, flexible, responsive and leaders in the field.

The London Borough of Bromley ('The Council') is inviting tenders for the provision of an integrated sexual health service for the Bromley.

Section six. Complementary information

six.3) Additional information

Evaluation of the tender will be based on the CIPFA evaluation model and in full compliance with EU Directives, the Council's Contract Procedure Rules and stated criteria.

Evaluation of the criteria for quality issues, etc. will also include the operation of minimum score thresholds. If a proposal receives a score below the required threshold then the bid may not be considered further. The minimum acceptable score is a requirement to obtain at least half of the available points in any particular area. An indicative use of this model can be downloaded from the Council's website.

The Council may make use of the contract for further negotiated arrangements to the extent permissible and in compliance with the relevant procurement regulations. Prospective contractors are advised that the documents issued at this time in conjunction with the Find A Tender Notice may be supplemented and / or amended as provided for in Regulation 53(6) of the Public Contract Regulations 2015.
