Description

Tree safety management activities across the East England Forest District, including:

- remote sites outside of core Lot 1-7 areas,

- large areas with cross Lot 1-7 boundaries,

- large requirements,

- survey and control of Oak Processionary Moth,

- Ash Dieback Felling (using different practices than those used under Lots 1-8), and other diseased trees / statutory plant health notice circumstances.

Framework operation description

Orders that meet the below criteria will be direct awarded to the 1st ranked supplier of the applicable Lot (Lots 1-7) without re-opening the competition process defined in Framework Agreement Clause 4.2:

• Where tree safety work is urgent and must be completed within the next 3 months, and

• Where the total call-off requirement is valued below £15,000 (ex VAT)

All orders under Lots 1 - 7 that exceed the 3 month requirement timeframe and/or £15,000 total estimated value will be placed by mini-competition. All orders under Lot 8 will be placed by mini-competition. Mini-competitions will be awarded following the process defined in Framework Agreement Clause 4.3.
