Middlesbrough Council wish to commission a Specialist Substance Misuse Clinical Support Service to operate as part of a wider integrated model of support across the town. The provider will need to have appropriate levels of support in place for young people and adults to meet clinical and prescribing needs associated with drug and alcohol misuse. It is a contractual requirement that the clinical service will operate within the Middlesbrough ACT (Accessing Care Together) partnership model to provide a single, overall service with a shared identity and branding, to deliver the integrated system. This service will work in partnership with other support services – both within the ACT model and also with relevant partners throughout Middlesbrough - to promote positive change in people’s lives, by having effective pathways and a strong ethos of partnership working in place.
