Needle and Syringe provision (also known as needle exchange) forms part of the wider needle exchange system in Devon and Torbay.

Devon County and Torbay Council’s wish to commission a Supplier to deliver the highest quality services for the provision of needles, syringes and other injecting paraphernalia to the Local Authority-commissioned needle exchange providers in Devon and Torbay, (predominantly pharmacies, but also include specialist treatment services, local homeless hostels and custody suites).

The Authority also requires the provider to deliver (or sub-commission) the collection and safe disposal of used injecting equipment from needle exchange providers.
