In developing a Safe Space, NHS Barnsley CCG is looking to offer a single contract to an organisation(s) that will ensure the adults within the borough are able to access appropriate, timely support for mental health crisis in line with local, regional, and national objectives. The Barnsley specification is shared with this PIN to provide more information about the service.
The tender process will take place in March / April 2022. The contract duration will be 3 years (with the option of extending by a further 2) and the cost envelope will be £160k per annum. The CCG aim to invest further funding into the service throughout the duration of the contract to increase the hours of operational delivery.
In preparation we will be holding an open market engagement event to share more details about our plans, hear your views and answer queries. Details of the agenda will be confirmed nearer the time.
The meeting will take place on Tuesday 15 March 2022, between 11am and 12noon, on Microsoft Teams.
