The Home Compliance Service was novated from UK Home Office to the UK Health Security Agency and was due to expire in Mid December. Due to the emergence of the Omicron variant of Covid-19 there was a continuing legal requirement for self isolation for citizens infected with Covid-19 and the contract was extended to continue the service of carrying out checks to ensure that self isolation was adhered to.
