Greater Manchester NHS Trusts are inviting expressions of interest from suitably experienced and capable providers, to provide Domestic Waste services.

Greater Manchester NHS Trusts are looking for the delivery of a collaborative contract for the provision of Domestic Waste services across the Greater Manchester region.

It is the intention that the Greater Manchester NHS Trusts will tender their Domestic Waste provision alongside the renewal of the NHS SBS Waste Management and Minimisation Services Framework which is due to be published in approximately May 2022. This opportunity will be published as part of the framework renewal but will consist of a separate lot for the Provision of Domestic Waste Services for the Greater Manchester NHS Trusts. It will result in a contract for the Great Manchester NHS Trusts which will provide a staggered award.

This Market Engagement Questionnaire (MEQ) seeks the views and opinions of those organisations that may be interested in delivering the Service.

Greater Manchester NHS Trusts wish to understand the views of interested providers, particularly in relation to delivering the contract as a collaborate group and any savings/ benefits that can be achieved.

Responses to this invitation for expressions of interest are likely to initiate follow-up engagement by the Greater Manchester Trusts as well as sharing of developing documentation such as service specification and commercial modelling ahead of any procurement process.
