On behalf of NY Highways Ltd, NYCC is seeking suppliers to provide maintenance and statutory examination services to a range of vehicles including grab cranes, street lighting cranes, skip loaders, swing cranes and passenger tail lifts.

NY Highways Ltd is a wholly-owned subsidiary of North Yorkshire County Council. NY Highways will commence operations as North Yorkshire County Council's Highways Maintenance Contractor from 1st June 2021.

The aim of this contract is to provide maintenance and statutory examination services to a range of vehicles including grab cranes, street lighting cranes, skip loaders, swing cranes and passenger tail lifts.

The contract is split into 4 lots;

Non-passenger vehicle lifting equipment Statutory Examination.

Passenger tail lift and step Statutory Examination.

Non-passenger vehicle lifting equipment maintenance.

Passenger tail lift and step maintenance.

Each lot will be awarded to a single supplier. Suppliers cannot provide both maintenance and testing services.
