The (Sleep Apnoea) CPAP and Auto titration (CPAP / BIPAP) service must include the provision of
— auto-titration CPAP devices,
— auto titration ASV (CPAP/BIPAP) devices for complex sleep disordered breathing patients,
— humidification prescribed on an agreed individual patient basis,
— complete range of patient interfaces masks, tubing, headgear and O2 ports.
The range of devices and consumables offered should be appropriate for adult therapy.
Device issue and management will be for both long-term and short term therapy with clearly defined pathways.
