Explanation:
Warwickshire Police currently receives its water supply and sewerage services from Water Plus via a contract between Water Plus and Place Partnership (PPL) - a Teckal company part owned by Warwickshire Police. The planned dissolution of PPL on 31.03.2021 means that the contractual relationship now needs to be transferred between Water Plus and Warwickshire Police.
This contract award is an interim measure to ensure essential continuity of water supply to Warwickshire Police, on existing contract terms and duration. The agreement will expire on 31st January 2022 and Warwickshire Police will be conducting a competitive tender for its water supply in advance of that date.
