two.1.4) Short description

Hampshire County Council (HCC) is carrying out this market engagement exercise to aid in the proposed re-procurement of The Children's Services Overnight Respite Open Framework.

The primary objective of the online market engagement exercise is to understand the capabilities and capacity within the market, and to identify how the market can support the Council and gain insight into the most suitable delivery model.

The Council intends to engage with the market via an Online Engagement Event to gauge interest and opinion on service delivery. The current service is delivered through a Light Touch Open Framework which was procured under the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.

This re-procurement will be procured under the Procurement Act 2023.

This is an opportunity to influence and shape the future delivery of the service.

The Online Engagement Event is scheduled to take place on Thursday 6th March 2025 at 10am-11:30am

The service will be delivered in the geographical location of Hampshire and bordering counties/authorities.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement

The Council is currently exploring its options regarding the best route to market, including considering the use of lots to meet the requirements. As such, the Council cannot confirm if the contract will contain lots at this point. Details will be confirmed in the Tender Notice when the opportunity is advertised.

This Prior Information Notice (PIN) is an indication of potential future procurement activity only. The procurement route and procedures are still to be decided and will be informed by information and feedback from interested organisations who attend the online event.
