Caerphilly County Borough Council wishes to engage with the market in regard to Educated Other than at School (EOTAS) provision. This Prior Information Notice is to commence engagement with the market and to seek expression of interest from providers who offer an alternative education for the Young People of Caerphilly County Borough Council.

EOTAS is a Local Authority provision that caters for anything between 200 and 300 young people across the authority. It is designed to cater for young people whose needs dictate that they cannot access mainstream education. The needs identified vary though most of them are based around social, emotional and behavioural difficulties. Caerphilly CBC have a range of provisions which are designed to offer therapeutic interventions alongside an entitlement to the full curriculum.

Caerphilly CBC are seeking for external providers to supplement the Councils offer, ensuring full curriculum entitlement to all our learners.

Caerphilly is seeking expression of interests from providers who offer both full-time and part-time provision and also providers who offer vocational qualifications and/or therapeutic interventions in an environment that will both engage and support the development of our pupils.

Caerphilly CBC vision is to support and help young people to grow into happy and ambitious young adults - who bring a positive dimension to the communities in which they live.

The Council at this stage is only seeking expression of interest from the market and to understand service provision available.

All expressions of interest must be made to Leah Emery by email with a short description of the service provision available.

Full details shall be provided at the time of call for competition, Contract Notice.
