North of England Commissioning Support (NECS) is working for and on behalf of NHS England and NHS Improvement North East and Cumbria(Health and Justice Team) (the Contracting Authority) to conduct market engagement to obtain input and feedback in preparation for the potential tender of the below contract:-

• NHSE644 Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC) service for all ages (Cumbria Only)

The Contracting Authority would like to gather soft intelligence from the market and are publishing a Request for Information (RFI) for each service.

The service will be tendered as 2 separate lots, lot 1 North East SARC service (Adult Only) and Lot 2 Cumbria SARC service (All Ages), please note that this RFI is for Lot 2 - CUMBRIA ONLY and will have the following estimated contract value:-

NHSE644 - Lot 2 - Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC) Services for all ages (Cumbria Only)

Annual Contract Value - £380,199

The RFIs and further documentation including draft service specifications for each of the services will be available on the Intend Portal https://in-tendhost.co.uk/nhsnecsu/aspx/home The RFIs will be available from 23 March 2021 and the deadline for responses will be 12 Noon 13 April 2021. Please note that all communications and RFI submissions will be conducted via the Intend Portal. The portal can be accessed at any time of the day and it is free to register.

Please note that this exercise is not part of any pre-qualification process. It is intended as an awareness, communication and information gathering exercise offering an opportunity for provider organisations to help inform potential future service models and/or commissioning intentions.
