BCP Council is to introduce food waste collections to all Poole dwellings (houses and flats) and all other flats across BCP that do not already have the service (primarily Bournemouth). This expansion of domestic food waste collections requires the co-ordinated delivery, to maximise efficiencies and reduce carbon footprint, of all products (i.e. leaflets, wheeled bins, containers and caddies) to dwellings throughout the area featuring:

- 4,625 flat blocks

- 51,978 houses

We are engaging with the supply market early to seek new and innovative ideas and better understand what is possible. This will inform our requirements and promote the planned tender process. Our formal tender process is planned for late 2025 once we have completed market engagement.

Interested parties must submit their completed Early Market Engagement Questionnaire via the www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk portal by the deadline shown on the system
