two.2.4) Description of the procurement

The service will provide sexual health and drug treatment services to people involved in sex work. This will be provided through regular confidential outreach at appropriate times in a variety of venues (to include three evening outreach sessions per week), and a confidential drop-in service consisting of one to one and group sessions (on weekdays). The service will work in partnership with sexual health services to provide access to advice and support around sexual health and access to testing and contraception. The service will work in partnership with drug treatment services to ensure that clients are able to access support for substance misuse. The service will work in partnership with local statutory, voluntary and community services to provide a flexible response to clients and to support referral and facilitate access to healthcare and other support services.

The intention is to direct award a contract to an existing provider following direct award process C. The services to be provided are from 1st April 2024 to 31st March 2026. The lifetime value of the contract is £90,000.
