two.2.4) Description of the procurement

The Authority is seeking to appoint one (1) single Contractor to supply Commodity laboratory chemicals and consumables.

This Contract is primarily intended to meet the needs of the Environment

Agency (EA) and the Centre for Environment, Fisheries and Aquaculture Science (Cefas). The terms of this Contract will allow for the Department of the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, and its associated bodies including any Agencies and non-departmental public bodies to access the Goods at the agreed preferential rates and terms.

It is anticipated that the Animal and Plant Health Agency (APHA) may onboard / access the Contract during the term of the Contract.

The contract is scheduled to start on 01/08/2022, and the contract period will be 2 years (with a further 24 months allowable extension). (Note that value shown on this notice is approximate and covers the full 4-year period.)
