To improve its manufacturing capability and capacity FMPG have a requirement to purchase an automated section cutting machine that will increase FMPG's throughput and quality performance.

The automated robot profile cutting machine should be able to interface with multiple CAD -CAM toolsets and use a high-performance plasma cutting head to minimise distortion on thin sections / stiffeners.

The machine should also be equipped with edge cleaning and marking capability.

The machine to be able to cut edge profiles, scallops and holes on a variety of sections as detailed below: -

Flat Bar: Min size 60 x 6 Max Size 300 x 25

Bulb Bar: Min size Min size 80 x 5, Max 430 x 20

Angle Bar: Min size 100 x 75 x 8, Max 200 x150 x 15

Channel: Min size 70 x 25, Max size 420 x 150 x 25

T -Bar: 100 x 50 x 6, Max 500 x 200 x 20
