Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust is largest provider of community and mental health services in Dorset ,
We are currently looking for a Decontamination and Sterilisation Services to include delivery of sterile instruments and collection of used Podiatry instruments to multiple clinic sites across Dorset. 1 The service will include the comprehensive provision of sterile services including cleaning of surgical instruments within facilities operating to Medical Devices Directive (93/42/EEC) (MED) standards, the delivery and collection of surgical instruments and the provision of associated support services and supplies to community healthcare providers. The successful contractor will be required to provide suitable facilities and resources to provide the services.
2. The successful contractor will be required to provide the necessary infrastructure to collect, decontaminate, sterilise and deliver instruments in accordance with the specification.

Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust is largest provider of community and mental health services in Dorset , and our vision is: “Providing care all of us would recommend to family and friends"
We are currently looking for a Decontamination and Sterilisation Services to include delivery of sterile instruments and collection of used Podiatry instruments to multiple clinic sites across Dorset. The services currently operate from approx. 42 different sites across the county.
1 The service will include the comprehensive provision of sterile services including cleaning of surgical instruments within facilities operating to Medical Devices Directive (93/42/EEC) (MED) standards, the delivery and collection of surgical instruments and the provision of associated support services and supplies to community healthcare providers. The successful contractor will be required to provide suitable facilities and resources to provide the services.
2. The successful contractor will be required to provide the necessary infrastructure to collect, decontaminate, sterilise and deliver instruments in accordance with the specification. In addition the successful contractor will be required to report at regular intervals detailed information on activity undertaken.
The contract will be awarded for 3 years with an option to extend for up to 2 x 12 months.
