Gas Networks Ireland (GNI) intends to procure a CV energy tracking application system.

The scope includes the supply, installation, validation, licencing, support and maintenance of an enduring CV energy tracking application system on the GNI Transmission network.

The CV energy tracking application software is to be integrated with the existing GNI Gas Transmission Management System (GTMS) to allow for daily nominations / billing. The solution offered must be an off the shelf, technology ready solution that is fit-for purpose. The tenderer must demonstrate where it is currently in use on networks comparable to the GNI configuration.

The successful applicant shall clearly demonstrate their prior experience in:

- Supplying a real-time / technology-ready CV gas

quality tracking application

- Installing such an application

- Validating this application against pre-agreed criteria

Gas Networks Ireland (GNI) intends to procure a CV energy tracking application system.

for further details on the scope please refer to Appendix 3 (PQQ) which provides an overview of the detailed scope and appendix 4(PQQ) which provides a list of the inputs that GNI will provide to allow the proposed CV tracking application to be configured and match the GNI network configuration requirements.

Initially the CV tracking system will be operated on the GNI Transmission network, but it is envisaged that this may in future phases over the lifetime of the framework be required to cover both GNI Transmission and Distribution networks

Three Applicants will be invited to tender, provided three Applicants submit compliant PQQ Responses that meet the minimum requirements.

If there is more than one Applicant ranked in 3rd place, all the third placed Applicants will be invited to tender.

If at ITN stage (and prior to submission of the tenders) a successful Applicant withdraws from the competition the Contracting Entity reserves the right to invite the next ranked compliant Applicant from the PQQ stage to submit a tender. The Contracting Entity may extend the submission date of the ITN in order to facilitate this change

The Contracting Entity also reserves the right to contract with each member of the group on the basis of joint and several liability, or with one member of the group as a main contractor with a number of sub-contractors or on any other basis as the Contracting Entity considers appropriate.
