Description
Salford City Council currently commissions an All-Age carer service to deliver a range of advice and support services for carers and bereaved individuals in Salford. These include:
Carer Support: One‑to‑one and group support for carers of all ages, along with benefits advice and advocacy.
Bereavement Support: Counselling and emotional support for children and young people dealing with bereavement.
Community Activities: Free activities and events for carers, such as arts workshops and social gatherings.
We want to carry out this pre‑market engagement to understand the market's capacity, test the feasibility of our proposed specification and gather insight to shape a realistic, high‑quality service.
It helps ensure the contract reflects carers' needs, encourages a strong and diverse provider landscape and delivers value for money
