Description

In 2023, Chichester District Council (the Authority) tendered for the provision of a repairs and maintenance service for its short-stay homelessness accommodation portfolio (approximate value £80,000 per annum). The contract was awarded to Mountjoy and commenced on 1 September 2023, with an intended minimum term of three years.

On 1 September 2025, the current supplier served the Authority with the required nine months’ notice to terminate the agreement and intends to end the contract on 31st May 2026.

The Authority sought legal advice and confirmed that a new procurement process will be required to retender this service.

Please be advised that the document previously titled “Provision of Repairs, Servicing and Maintenance Services – Short Stay (Homeless) Housing on behalf of Chichester District Council - Market Engagement” has been retitled to “Market Engagement Questionnaire.”

All other information contained within the notice remains unchanged.

Chichester District Council (the Authority) will be tendering for the provision of a repairs, servicing and maintenance services contract for its short stay (homeless) housing portfolio. The Authority will be going out to tender using the National Housing Federation (NHF) Documents.

The proposed documents will have some Chichester project specific amendments.

The anticipated timeline for the tender process is as follows:
