The Police and Crime Commissioner for Hertfordshire and NHS England invite suppliers to attend engagement events in relation to Sexual Assault Referral Services and Sexual Assault Support Services.
Sexual Assault Referral Services:
Sexual Assault Referral Services is an open access service to help and support victims in the aftermath of sexual assault and abuse. The service will support service users forensically and with their healthcare needs. The service is open to all victims and available regardless of when the crime has been committed. Services users will be supported on the journey to recovery by the provision of care dependent on their individual needs and their informed decisions.

Sexual Assault Support Services:
Sexual Assault Support Services will support individuals who have suffered sexual violence, abuse and assault. The service will support service users with their emotional, practical, and therapeutic needs. The service will also provide education and prevention advice in a community-based model. The service is open to all victims and available regardless of when the crime has been committed or whether or not the crime has been reported to the police. Services users will be supported on the journey to recovery by the provision of care dependent on their individual needs and their informed decisions
The above authority intends to hold supplier engagement events covering overviews of each of the service provisions.
There will also be a separate supplier engagement day to cover 'how to tender'.
It is anticipated the servicing requirements will be separated into LOT's.
Please note LOTs are subject to change and will be fully detailed in the invitation to tender.

Anticipated engagement event date: Supplier Engagement dates are subject to change; formal invitations will be sent closer to the event date

LOT 2: 3rd June 2021 – pm 2 hour session
How to tender – 7th June 2021 - 2-hour session
It is anticipated a separate supplier event will be held to run through ‘How to’ tender, covering items such as, what is required for a Supplier Questionnaire, what is included in a tender, what a tender process looks like, timescales, submission documents and terminology. Please note: no information in regards to the SARS/SASS will be shared at the 'how to' session, this session is focused only on the tender process.

For the engagement events:
Subject to change and COVID related restrictions: You will be invited to attend an on-line Teams meeting where we will host the supplier engagement events
Please ensure you express interest in the PIN so formal invites can be shared once final dates have been confirmed
Joining instructions and an agenda of the day will be issued before the event.
