Lincolnshire County Council (LCC) welcome discussion about bike/ebike hire. This Market Engagement will focus on the below points in relation to bike/ebike hire scheme:

- Technological advancements linked to ApplePay and AndroidPay as well as geofencing to allow for additional stations and simplicity of moving docking points.

- Geographical scheme expansion; to include the entirety of the city of Lincoln as well as villages in the periphery including Branston, Washingborough and Nettleham.

- Bike/ebike specifications.

- Reporting information.

- Concessionary Contract.

As part of the process the Council is keen to engage with the supplier market to help finalise

the scope and particulars of the framework offering. As part of its pre market engagement

strategy, the Council is offering a short window for interested suppliers to engage in virtual

This is a prior information notice so full particulars of the procedure, nature and quantity of

supplies are yet to be finalised and will be refined through this call for market involvement.

Following market engagement, it is anticipated the Council will utilise either the Restricted

or Open procedure to invite interested candidates to tender for the opportunity. The Council

will likely look to appoint a single for a four year period with option to extend.
