The Prior Information Notice and this additional information relates to a Provider Information Event only in relation to a future Falkirk Council Framework Agreement for the Provision of Supported Accommodation for Care Experienced Young People in the Falkirk Council area.
Falkirk Council Children’s Service is seeking a provider(s) to deliver an alternative to continuing care and aftercare in an accommodation based resource. The provider will assist young people to gain the knowledge and skills necessary, and support them to make a successful transition to more independent living.
The duration of the Framework is anticipated to be 2 years with the option of two 12 month extensions.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement
The accommodation comprises 9, self- contained single occupancy apartments within a 3 storey building.
The service to be provided is an accommodation-based housing support service to support 8 young people with eligible after care needs. It is intended that one of the nine self contained apartments will be retained to accommodate emergency placements. It is recognized that the hours of support to each young person will vary depending on the support needs. Some young people may require a significant level of support to develop their ability to live more independently.
Access to the service will be provided 24 hours a day, 365/366 days a year.

This notice relates to a Provider Information Event only.
Falkirk Council would like to invite Providers who could provide the service and would be interested in tendering for a new Framework Agreement for the Provision of Supported Accommodation for Care Experienced Young People in the Falkirk Council area to join us for an Information Event on the afternoon of Thursday 9th March 2023 via Microsoft Teams. It is expected the event will begin at 2pm and finish by 3.30pm.
To register your attendance at the Information Event, please email cpu@falkirk.gov.uk with the name, designation and email address of those wishing to attend by Monday 6th March. A meeting invite will then be emailed with Joining Instructions.
