two.1.4) Short description

Anglia Ruskin University School of Medicine seeks a transport provider for Year 1 and Year 2 Undergraduate medical students during weekdays (not including Bank Holidays, as indicated by Appendix A in the Tender Documents). This will include a total estimated 240 students across both year groups although this number may vary on student admission and academic performance throughout the contract period.The transport provided will focus on taking medical students to and from their secondary care placements that will be situated at the five main hospitals within Essex. This includes transport to and from, Basildon Hospital (MSE), Broomfield Hospital (MSE), Southend Hospital (MSE), Colchester Hospital (ESNEFT) and Harlow Hospital (PAH). However, the number of locations may increase or decrease throughout the duration of the contract.

UK Legislation provides a mechanism for aggrieved parties who have been harmed or who are at risk of harm by Anglia Ruskin University Higher Education Corporation's breach of the Regulations to take action in the High Court. Any such action should be brought promptly and in any event within 30 days of the date the tenderer knew or ought to have known that grounds for starting proceedings have arisen. The procedures and grounds for appeal are set out in Regulation 92.
