About the event

Surrey County Council will be recommissioning its Early Help services ,we would like to invite potential and existing providers of Early Help services to take part in our virtual interactive market engagement workshop.

Surrey County Council uses The Working Together to Safeguard Children (July 2018) Early Help definition: “Early help means providing support as soon as a problem emerges, at any point in a child’s life, from the foundation years through to the teenage years. Early help can also prevent further problems arising; for example, if it is provided as part of a support plan where a child has returned home to their family from care, or in families where there are emerging parental mental health issues or drug and alcohol misuse.”

The purpose of this event will be:

• To share the knowledge Surrey County Council has collated through research, engagement, and co-design sessions

• To outline our potential commissioning model

• Gather participants views and feedback on the potential recommissioning model using breakout rooms.

• Provide a high-level timeframe and the next steps

Surrey County Council would like to invite providers with relevant experience to register for one of the two Market Engagement Events in relation to Early Help services. The detailed Early Help recommissioning model is still in development, and information gathered from this event will inform the recommissioning and procurement process.
